- Soojney
- SOOJNEYA thick cotton cloth with a large diaper pattern, used as a counterpane in Northern India. It is woven in the Dacca district on hand looms. Usually grey and white, but a red ground is sometimes used. Made about 60 ends and 60 picks per inch, 12's warp and 14's bleached weft. A small fringe was formed at each end of the cover.
